LOW IN SUGAR & SATURATED FAT
Balance Plant Protein is low in sugars with only 0.1g per serve of powder, making this a great option if you are actively trying to cut back on the sweet stuff for good health. A COMPLETE PROTEIN SOURCE
Many individual sources of plant protein are considered ‘Incomplete’ proteins, meaning that unlike animal sourced proteins, they do not contain all of the essential amino acids in the right amounts the body requires. A deficiency of one or two essential amino acids can limit the proper development of protein structures in the body. FORMULATED WITHOUT GLUTEN OR SOY
Balance Plant Protein has been formulated without Gluten and can be enjoyed by those who suffer from gluten intolerance. This tasty plant blend has also been formulated without soy for those who may wish to avoid soy.
ADDED BCAAS
Balance Plant Protein contains added (and naturally occurring) Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs); L- Leucine, L- Isoleucine and L- Valine at the optimum ratio of 2:1:1. These three essential amino acids make up approximately 1/3 of the existing muscle tissue, and are preferentially oxidized as a source of energy by exercising muscles. By making sure there is an abundance of these particular amino acids in the diet, you can limit the breakdown of existing muscle as a source of energy.
ADDED GLUTAMINE
This ‘Conditionally Essential’ amino acid is the most abundant within the muscle tissue, making it incredibly important for both maintaining and gaining muscle. The body can usually make its own glutamine, but during times of increased stress and intense exercise may be unable to meet demand, and so dietary supplementation may be required.
ADDED NATURAL DIGESTIVE ENZYMES
Bromelain (pineapple) and papain (papaya) help to optimise protein digestion, making sure your body can get all the protein it needs to support muscle recovery and repair.
