Comvita Propolis Tincture Extra Strength helps to support and maintain a healthy immune system and is traditionally used to assist in the management of minor wounds and skin disorders.
Propolis is created by bees from natural resin produced by trees as part of their defence system. Honeybees collect the resin, mix in beeswax and enzymes, and use it to protect the hive. Propolis contains a range of bioflavonoids with well known antibacterial and antioxidant properties.
Comvita's Propolis Tinctures are made from the highest quality propolis in an alcohol base.
Adults: apply 1.25mL topically each day directly to affected areas. For external use only.
Ingredients:
Each 1.25mL contains Propolis Tincture 231mg, equivalent to 1.10g (1100mg) of fresh Propolis, equivalent to 15mg of flavonoids. Contains 70% Ethanol. Contains pollen.
Propolis may cause severe allergic reactions. If irritation or swelling of the mouth or throat occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner. Propolis may cause skin irritation. Test before use. Contains ethanol. Pregnant or lactating women: Consult a healthcare professional before taking this product. Always read the label. Use only as directed. I take Propolis once a day in the morning after breakfast. It gives me a better immune system and notice that during the flu season all I had was just a sniffle or two. I think I might have had Covid before as one of my colleagues said she felt as if she had been hit by a mack truck while another said she was finally feeling 'human' again but all I experienced was that I loss my sense of smell. My family members who do not believe in taking supplements thinks that mine is just a placebo effect. Well I am a senior and aside from the govt required health check, have not seen the gp for any health issue so this product is definitely working for me.
